I personally had the privilege of spending four days with
Rick & Eldon and what I experience was enriching. Their stay included
many "extras" which were above and beyond what was expected of them, and
included personal "in-home" visits to some church members who had just
experienced surgery and could not attend the services, a cameo appearance at
a local restaurant as well as a last minute presentation to a local soccer
group's closing ceremonies. From the youngest child to the
oldest adult, the team related and ministered to all! |

Special thanks
to our speaker, Rick Willison, who did a great job of allowing God to speak
through him to touch our hearts. Pastor Rick is leader of the X-treme Team,
an evangelistic ministry that shares the gospel with young people around the
world. We were blessed by his ministry. Many lives were changed and almost
all of the kids made very deep new commitments to God. |

as you ministered to our churches and a number of schools in our
community. You and your team have a remarkable ability to share the gospel
in such a radical way it’s bound to get somebody's attention. A lot of
the feats you have tackled are backed by one power, God, and you make that
abundantly clear that it's not by your might, but by His. Your team has
the gift to speak to crowds professionally and still touch them on a
personal and individual level.

What impresses me the most about Rick is his
determination, his drive despite his physical handicap of visual
impairment, and his organizational skills. Further, he is a powerful
speaker who preaches the Word of God without apology and with great
conviction, whether giving a sermon in a church setting, or preaching the
gospel in a slum marketplace in Nairobi, Kenya.
Christians get fired up after watching The X-Treme Team perform
Gospel Breaks and hearing the powerful message, and nonbelievers come to
Christ through this ministry as well. |

The
X-Treme Team is totally awesome to sum it up in a few words. Their
technique of getting the kids and people of all ages fired up for God is
beyond comprehension.
School
Assemblies: The Team grabbed the attention of the kids and the entire audience by their
feats of strength and from that moment on the Team had their undivided
attention.
Leadership
Seminars: Gave a
new, renewing perspective to leadership with ideas of youth leadership and
development, activities, fellowship as well as ideas for the church family
in general.
Counselor
Training: This
informal, relaxed training of our church leaders who would serve as
counselors during the Gospel Break, served as not only training for the
night to come but for a lifetime.
The
Gospel Break: This
was beyond our wildest expectations! We had no idea of what was about to
take place in our community and the people it they would touch and change
their lives forever. On that night during the Break it became evident . .
. the gym was packed, people sitting on chairs, on the floor, standing
around the parameter of the gym, and people peering through the windows to
get a glimpse of God's messengers.
Sunday
School: Our youth
was privileged to have the Team as their Sunday school teachers. The excitement and stories told after
the classes were let out said everything.
Sunday
Services: Many of
the youth and adults that attended the Gospel Break returned for Sunday
morning services. There were so many people in attendance, we held
services in the gym. Rick's message held everyone's attention and is one
that will be remembered for years. He has a God-given ability to reach out
to people, get a hold of them, deliver the message, and keep them wanting
more and more and more.

These people are devoted to God and are trying to do God's will and bring
others to him.

there and I couldn't let go.
